Asylum Welcome (AWADS)
Asylum Welcome seeks to relieve poverty, sickness and distress and to advance the education of asylum seekers and those who are, or who have been, detained by the immigration authorities, through the provision of interpreters, legal advice, medical treatment and counselling with particular reference to those living in the Oxford area or detained at Campsfield House.
 

Campaign to Close Campsfield (CCC)
Campaign to Close Campsfield has been campaigning for the closure of Campsfield detention (now ‘removal’) centre for more than nine years.  The centre is just outside Oxford and is a prison run for private profit by Group 4, supervised by Home Office immigration officials. Monthly demonstrations take place on the last Saturday of each month, from 1200 to 1400.
