We've had an influx of donations in at our charity shop recently, both in money and clothing. Thank you so much to everyone that has been donating, it really helps us to carry on our work that is so important for the people we are trying to help and support. Your support means the world to us and to them.

We now have a huge selection of womens and mens clothing, as well as a lot of childrens clothes from infant age upwards. We have lots of toys and games too.
We also have a fair amount of books, ornaments, DVDs and other bric-a-brac on sale, looking to go to new homes. Come down and have a rummage, we have loads of great stuff on sale for great prices, going to a great cause!

With the media hype around what we’re not supposed to eat, we’d be lead into believing that nothing is safe for our health. This article will show a few things that are alright to consume in moderation.
* Wine. An occasional glass of wine never hurt anyone and, as a matter of fact, is known to have positive effects on your circulatory system. As long as you’re not drinking the whole bottle and are not on medication, some wine every once in a blue moon is alright.
* Fast food. Again, don’t overdo it. An occasional burger or a pizza is more than fine, provided you eat healthy food on a normal base.
* Fried food. Cooking everything in large quantities of oil is a heart attack in the coming. However, if you occasionally feel like getting a fried chicken treat you can safely go for it. Use olive oil if you can, it’s healthier. Also, get a wok, as cooking in one requires very little oil.
